Animators Win at Nationals Congratulations to Kyle Barnes and Alex Moran who won the Gold Medal in 3D Visualization and Animation at the SkillsUSA National Championships which were held in Kansas City, Missouri on June 21-26 (http://www.skillsusa-register.org/reports/medalists.aspx). The pair advanced to finals after winning the Gold Medal at both the District 4 and the Texas State Championships (http://www.skillsusatx.org/state-winners2010.php). This marks the third consecutive year that Dale Jackson students represented Texas at Nationals. Alex Angus also competed at Nationals in Telecommunications Cabling and finished 10th in the nation. Following the summer break, we are back at work preparing for the start of school. The Dale Jackson office is open from 7:30 to 4:00, Monday - Friday. Students wishing to register, pick-up schedules, transcripts, records, enrollments and withdrawals must do so at their home campus. The Fall Open House is scheduled for September 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. |
