COSMETOLOGY I, 3 credits

• License and materials fee will be assessed
• Approximate cost $200.00 due first week of school

This course is a three and one-half hour pre-employment laboratory course with job-specific training for entry level in cosmetology careers. Instruction includes the theory and application of all
skills required of cosmetologists by the Texas Cosmetology Commission. Morning class is from 8:00 – 11:30 am; afternoon class is 12:30 – 4:00 pm. Students are expected to complete 137 clock hours each quarter.

COSMETOLOGY II, 3 credits

• Prerequisite: …Cosmetology I (546 hours completed)

Students are expected to complete 137 clock hours each quarter. Students must take the state board exam to earn credits for the second term.
