Hospitality ServicesHospitality Services is a two credit career education program and it introduces students to all aspects of the hotel industry. The class has daily instruction for the first three weeks at the beginning of the semester. After three weeks, the students meet only one day a week for additional instruction. During the instructional time, students learn safety and sanitation, leadership and management skills, professional attitude, communication skills, customer relations, techniques used in marketing and sales, human resources and legalities of employment and team building as well as problem solving. The other days of the week the students will be assigned to a hotel and will have daily rotations to go through. The first year is all entry-level departments, and the second year involves more in-depth study of specific areas. Open to grades 11-12. Instructor-
