MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS (Metalworking)

A combination classroom and laboratory course introducing manufacturing and construction technology. Instruction includes terms, tools, and methods of construction. Laboratory introduces basic practical experiences in cutting, brazing and welding. Materials must be purchased for projects and lab work.

WELDING I

A pre-employment laboratory course designed to introduce basic skills in combination welding. Instruction includes safety, work ethic, and career opportunities. Practical experience will include both individual and group projects. Materials must be purchased for projects and lab work.

WELDING II

An advanced course in combination welding stressing both individual projects and group work. Instruction includes welding theory, metallurgy, and blueprint reading. Materials must be purchased for projects and lab work.
